General Do Cat’s bunker is located in the corporate center of the important fortress Dien Bien Phu, this place belongs to the vast Muong Thanh field. <\/font>This place is built extremely strong with a roof made of iron, surrounded by wooden planks and covered with sandbags as well as a series of barbed wire outside. <\/font>If you come here to visit, what you see is all original from the previous day: from the structure, arrangement, and layout of the basement.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

If you stand in a place with high terrain such as hills or low mountains, you will easily see the roof of this tunnel. <\/font>Surrounded by layers of defensive barriers with many interlaced barbed wire networks and four tanks. <\/font>The total length of Do Cat tunnel is about 20m, up to 8m wide and has up to 4 spaces for working as well as living space.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

This tunnel is easy to see, just standing in a place with high ground like a hill or a mountain, but the Vietnamese army has occupied continuously for 55 days and nights, many soldiers have heroically sacrificed themselves. Can capture Do Cat tunnel.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

This historic bunker is not only the place where General Do Cat commanded the battle, but also welcomed many high-ranking figures such as: British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, US President Dwight Eisenhower, French Prime Minister Joseph Laniel along with many world famous journalist.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n
