Upper Lao Cai Temple, also known as Saint Tran Tu, is one of the historical landscapes of the Northeast region.<\/font><\/font><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Upper Lao Cai Temple<\/font><\/font><\/strong> was built on the land of Bao Thang street, Chau Thuy Vi, Hung Hoa province, now in Lao Cai ward, Lao Cai city, Lao Cai province, nearly 500m from Lao Cai international border gate.<\/font><\/font>
 <\/div>\n
Thuong Temple<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  was built in the Le Dynasty, in the Chinh Hoa era (1680 – 1705). <\/font>It is a place of worshiping the moderate King Hung Dao Vuong – Tran Quoc Tuan, who has made great contributions in the cause of protecting the country’s countryside. <\/font>A great historical celebrity, a sacred and precious saint in the minds of generations of Vietnamese people. <\/font>Located on Hoa Hieu hill in Mai Linh mountain range with an altitude of 1200m above sea level. <\/font><\/font>Thuong Temple<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  was built according to the ancient architecture in the shape of the letter Cong (I), according to feng shui theory, which is both majestic and dignified. <\/font>The area  <\/font><\/font>of \u200b\u200bThuong temple <\/font><\/font><\/strong> has a charming natural landscape and a harmonious combination between traditional architecture and local culture, giving the temple a majestic appearance.<\/font><\/font>

Look at yourself by the Nam Thi river, this place used to have a very important position in the defense strategy against invaders. <\/font>Today, near the trade gateway between the two provinces of Lao Cai (Vietnam) and Yunnan (China), this sacred land at the top of the country welcomes thousands of domestic and foreign tourists every year. in memory of the national hero. <\/font>Right from the moment you step foot to the temple gate, visitors can admire the beauty of the 300-year-old banyan tree spreading its branches, under the shadow of the ancient tree is the shrine to worship Ba Chua Thuong Ngan (The Queen of the Forest). <\/font>Legend has it that, during the resistance war against foreign invaders, she contributed to fighting the enemy to protect the southern border. In gratitude to her, the people built a shrine right under the luxuriant banyan tree.<\/font><\/font>

In the main temple area, the horizontal painting “Van Hien self at” is hung in front of Nghi Mon, the two sides have two parallel sentences: “Viet chi Linh dai is not established, Dong A is proud of thousands of ancient lives”, meaning: ” Vietnam’s sacred country crosses the sky, the Tran Dynasty’s spirit is eternal. <\/font>On the back of the inner door, there is the inscription “Quoc Thai people’s peace” with two parallel sentences: “Heaven and earth are gentle, heaven and earth old; <\/font>Thao Hoa metal, Thao Hoa money\u201d means: \u201cHeaven and earth are still the same, heaven and earth are old; <\/font>The flowers of today are different, the flowers of the past.” <\/font><\/font>The Upper Temple <\/font><\/font><\/strong> was built spaciously with 7 main worshiping halls including: Palace of worshiping Shakyamuni Buddha, Palace of worshiping Tam Toa Thanh Mau; <\/font>The altar of Saint Tran Hung Dao; <\/font>The palace worships the Emperor’s father, Ngoc Hoang… and the altars on the Ta Vu – Huu Vu side to worship the Second Son Trang, the Twelve Tien Co, the Lord’s servant and the temple boy… all are arranged. put in sequence. <\/font>Besides <\/font><\/font>Thuong Temple<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  is a square communal house with 4 gates, 8 dragons adoring, in the middle of the communal house is a golden turtle with a stone stele bearing the inscription “Thanh Tran”. <\/font>This place used to be the resting place of military officers on patrol, today, it is an ecological forest with all kinds of plants to protect the environment, serving tourists to visit, rest to enjoy the fresh climate.<\/font><\/font>

Thuong Temple<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  is located in a complex of cultural relics with Tan Bao pagoda, Am temple, Mother temple, Cam temple, Quan temple. <\/font>In particular,  <\/font><\/font>Thuong Temple<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  is one of the most famous sacred temples in the system of temples and pagodas in Lao Cai. <\/font>Through many times of restoration and embellishment, in 1996,  <\/font><\/font>Thuong Temple<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  was ranked as a national level. <\/font>Every year,  <\/font><\/font>Thuong Temple <\/font><\/font><\/strong> holds a festival on the 15th day of the first lunar month, attracting the attention of a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to visit and worship.<\/font><\/font><\/div>\n
