If Tu Le and Mu Cang Chai are famous, the name Muong Lo (Nghia Lo) seems to be very few people know. <\/font>On the highway 32 axis to Mu Cang Chai, you will have to go through Nghia Lo town, this is the socio-economic center of the whole Muong Lo region today.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Located about 80 km west of Yen Bai city, Muong Lo valley is likened to a giant basin that covers the entire Nghia Lo town and a few communes of Van Chan district.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As the land of rice, Muong Lo has long been handed down in praise of the four largest granaries in the Northwest: “Nhat Thanh, Nhi Lo, Tam Than, Tu Tac”. <\/font>In which, Muong Thanh (Dien Bien) is the largest, Muong Lo is the second largest rice field in the Northwest, then comes Muong Than (Lai Chau) and finally Muong Tac (Son La).<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Famous for its cultural diversity, Muong Lo is also the place where 12 ethnic groups live together: Thai, Kinh, Mong, Muong…in which Thai people make up the majority.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
