The People’s Committee of Yen Bai province held a ceremony to announce the decision and receive the certificate of ranking of special national relic of Mu Cang Chai terraced fields and certify the New Rice Celebration of the Mong people as an intangible cultural heritage. <\/font>The decision was previously issued by the State, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, but until now, the province has only held an official reception ceremony, due to the influence of the COVID-19 epidemic.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The area of \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bthe special scenic area is more than 800 hectares, concentrated in the communes of La Pan Tan, Che Cu Nha, De Xu Phinh, Kim Noi, Mo De and Lao Chai. <\/font>Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong emphasized that Yen Bai province must take measures to protect the status quo of this special national relic. People repair and expand terraced fields in places where conditions are available.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The welcoming ceremony lasts until the end of January 1 with many unique and interesting cultural activities such as the festival of pounding shoe cakes of the Mong people in Mu Cang Chai, a contest to draw patterns with beeswax on cloth…<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Mu Cang Chai terraced fields are no stranger to domestic travel enthusiasts, as well as international visitors to Vietnam. <\/font>This place is associated with the rice cultivation of ethnic minorities for centuries, containing many cultural and historical values. <\/font>Mu Cang Chai terraced fields are likened to the fingerprints of heaven when viewed from above.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The terraced fields each season has its own beauty. <\/font>In which, the rice season of September, September and October is the time when most tourists gather. <\/font>The terraced fields from green to golden yellow are beautiful, becoming a popular check-in point. <\/font>In addition, in April and May – the water season, the fields are splashed with water like large mirrors reflecting on the sky, then changing to the green color of young seedlings is also a beautiful picture.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The terraced fields in La Pan Tan commune are an art work of the Mong people living here. <\/font>Layer by layer, layer by layer of soft winding terraced fields, dotted with green and yellow colors of rice plants at different times, creating a scene that is both beautiful, romantic and surprisingly poetic.<\/font><\/font><\/div>\n
