Established on January 11, 2018 on the basis of the entire area of \u200b\u200bthe former nature reserve, the national park has a natural area of \u200b\u200b10,245.6 ha, of which 4,035.5 ha is a strictly protected area. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Phja Oac and Phja Den are the names of two mountain peaks, in which the peak of Phja Oac has an altitude of 1,931m, which is likened to the &#8220;roof&#8221; of the west of Cao Bang province; <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Phja Den has an altitude of 1,391m.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The forest here belongs to the ecosystem of &#8220;dwarf forest, a typical forest type of temperate climate in the North of our country&#8221;. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Regarding plants, there are 1,287 species belonging to 786 genera in 202 families of 6 plant branches; <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Regarding animals, there are 496 species of vertebrates, in addition there are thousands of species of invertebrates, insects&#8230; In which there are 352 species of plants, 58 species of rare animals listed in the Red Book of Vietnam. This is an extremely rare resource, these valuable plant and animal genetic resources need to be strictly protected. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In terms of geology, Phja Oac &#8211; Phja Den National Park has limestone mountains with underground rivers; <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">valleys, basins and slopes interspersed between low and medium mountain ranges. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Phja Oac &#8211; Phja Den National Park has a favorable environment for scientific research, environmental education, and is an ideal research place for researchers,<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Nature has endowed Phja Oac &#8211; Phja Den with fresh air and cool climate. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In particular, this place also hides many miracles of nature, made up of overlapping mountains and green vegetation with bold wild features of mountains and forests covered with clouds. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Distributed around the garden are villages, streams, hillsides, terraced fields planted by ethnic minorities in rice, maize, cassava, tea&#8230; creating extremely beautiful natural pictures. . <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Visitors here also learn more about the colorful indigenous culture shown in traditional costumes and festivals of the Dao, Nung, Tay, and Mong ethnic groups.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Visiting Phja Oac &#8211; Phja Den is beautiful in any season, but the most typical in spring, visitors can also admire many flowers that grow naturally such as azaleas, wild orchids blooming brilliantly or in winter, can witness the flowers.
