According to the introduction information about the Hanoi Fine Arts Museum, this is an architectural work built during the French colonial period in the 30s of the 20th century, with the original function of being a place to stay for the daughter of Mr. French officials from all over Indochina returned to study in Hanoi.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

After 1945, the site was used for various purposes. <\/font>Since 1962, the building has been renovated into a place to collect, display and store typical Vietnamese art works from prehistoric times to the present. <\/font>Therefore, the architecture of Hanoi Fine Arts Museum has changed from pure European design to combine with Vietnamese architectural lines to suit the new function.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

In 1966, the museum opened to welcome visitors, with a campus of about 4,200 square meters and a display area of \u200b\u200b1200 square meters. <\/font>From 1997 to 1999, the Museum was expanded to 4737 square meters and displayed over 3,000 square meters.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
