Pagoda&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/font><\/font><\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Hung Ky Pagoda is an ancient temple located at Hung Ky alley, Minh Khai street, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi city. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Previously, this area was the territory of Hoang Mai village in Doai village. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The pagoda is also known as Vu Hung Tu, the name is Vo Hung Truyen Am.&nbsp;<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><b><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Hung Ky Pagoda<\/font><\/font><\/b><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> &nbsp;is considered a unique architectural and artistic work that appeared at the end of the Nguyen Dynasty. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The outstanding feature of the pagoda that cannot be found anywhere else is the skillful use of decoration with modern building materials such as ceramics and porcelain combined with traditional architectural styles. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Since then, creating a pagoda with unique architecture in the history of Vietnamese Buddhist architecture.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In 1992, this temple was ranked as preserved by the Ministry of Culture and Information and currently, the temple is abbot by Nun Thich Tu An.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Lich_su_hinh_thanh_va_phat_trien\"><b><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">History of formation and development<\/font><\/font><\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Legend has it that, in the eighth year of Bao Dai, in 1932, a Buddha hall is a statue of Amitabha Buddha in a meditating posture in the lotus position. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">This statue is 3.86m high with a pedestal 1.3m high, which is considered the largest and most massive statue.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In front of the statue of Amitabha is a statue of Maitreya &#8211; the future Buddha who replaces Shakyamuni to rule all beings. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Maitreya statue is carved in a sitting position, with a big belly, a full face, and a big smile.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In front of the Buddha hall, there are statues of Quan Am and Dai The Chi Bodhisattva (Amitabha three respects). <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The statue of Quan Am wearing a shaman&#8217;s hat, wrapped in a robe, stood in a raised
