Me Linh Biodiversity Station was established in 1999 under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. <\/font>The station has an area of \u200b\u200babout 170 ha, originally a poor forest, mainly bare land, bare hills, only shrubs and grass under the mountains of Tam Dao National Park. <\/font>Over the past 20 years, the station has now become an important and meaningful place in accessing and discovering the mysteries and wonders of nature for scientists, students, and learners. born domestically and internationally. <\/font>Especially in recent years, the station has become an attractive and meaningful natural destination for tourists near and far.<\/font><\/font><\/div>\n

The station has built a collection garden to store the genetic resources of native trees of 37 species, with more than 1000 individuals growing well, along with a garden of precious medicinal plants, orchids and ornamental plants. <\/font>The station also preserves 48 species of animals listed in the Vietnam Red Book, such as turtles, pythons, snakes, salamanders, star deer, apes, lorises, etc., especially thanks to the cooperation with scientists. The Federal Republic of Germany has successfully experimented with breeding and breeding several generations of crocodile lizard (Shinisaurus Crocodilurus), a rare endemic reptile not only in Vietnam but also in the world. back to the natural environment. <\/font>On the basis of research on forest conservation and restoration, protection and enrichment of forest ecosystems, aquatic ecosystems (streams), have contributed to enriching biodiversity of the station.<\/font><\/font><\/div>\n
