People here only know that for thousands of generations, there has been a clear lagoon, running long from the heart of the towering limestone mountains, bearing a very lyrical name: Cua Huong Cave. <\/font>The name must have hidden some beautiful legend from the day the world was founded. <\/font>Just know that the water in the lagoon is cool in the summer and warm in the winter.<\/font><\/font><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The special thing is that the water is always circulated so it is very clean. <\/font>When people come back from working in the fields, they just need to jump down to take a bath, let the water caress and soothe, their fatigue will disappear. <\/font>For children, Cua Huong cave is an interesting place to play throughout the four seasons. <\/font><\/font><\/div>\n

According to local people, Cua Huong water stream originates in Ai Lang area, An Phu commune (where there is a whirlpool shaped like a wine barrel carved with 3 girls going to the king) through the mountain and then gathers in Phu Duy village. (An Tien commune, My Duc district). <\/font>From here, after watering the green rice paddies, downstream Thanh Ha and then exit to Day River.  <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

In the past, because of this water source, the field at the foot of the mountain of Phu Duy village could only plant one crop. <\/font>But since, people dug the My Ha River to build dikes to prevent floods and control the water flow, so now here, two rice crops have been planted here – the good season. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

It is known that the village of Phu Duy worships the village’s god, General Ngo Xuong Xi – one of the leaders of the 12 warlords under King Ngo Quyen. <\/font>The training ground of the former insurgents was the mountains around Cua Huong lagoon. <\/font>According to legend, Cua Huong lagoon was the source of water for the insurgents. <\/font>Five to seven years ago, those looking for iron sources found many traces of weapons of the insurgents buried deep in the mountain.  <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The story goes that: In the past, someone accidentally dropped a grapefruit in the Ai Lang whirlpool, and then picked it up again in the lagoon of Cua Huong cave. <\/font>Thus, the lagoon is formed from the underground flow about 10km in the mountain bed. <\/font>Many curious tourists have tried swimming deep inside to explore, but due to lack of sunlight, no one has had the courage to go to the bottom of the underground water source.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Along with that historical monument, in the field of Phu Duy, around 1965, while digging in the earth to build a dike, people discovered an ancient bronze drum, which is currently on display at the Ha Tay Provincial Museum. <\/font>The person who directly dug up the bronze drum and brought it directly to the Provincial Museum was Mr. Vu Xuan Duoc, then the leader of the production team of Phu Duy village. <\/font>Currently, he is still healthy and has just received the title of 40 years of Party membership… <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

In the middle of 2005 and earlier, on the occasions of March 8, 30\/4, May 1, September 2… there was a day when Cua Huong lagoon welcomed thousands of visitors. <\/font>They bring food, water, bathing suits… to rest and relax… <\/font><\/font><\/div>\n

With sacred historical vestiges and the wonderful natural lagoon of Cua Huong, this place in the near future will be a stopover for many tourists from all over the world. <\/font>Along the pilgrimage route to the Buddhist land of Perfume Pagoda, eco-tour to Quan Son lake, Cua Huong lagoon will be the next destination that tourists want to stop to explore the natural beauty and rest and relax… To achieve that, the involvement of all levels of government and functional sectors in the formulation of a project to renovate the tourist area is extremely necessary.  <\/font><\/font><\/div>\n

Before the policy of the Party and State, together with the exploitation of tourist attractions, preserving and embellishing historical relics is a big responsibility of the government and people here. <\/font>Then, in addition to being an interesting tourist destination, Phu Duy will also be a respectable historical and cultural relic. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Hopefully one day not far, “beautiful” Cua Huong will no longer “sleep” but will “wake up” with a radiant, captivating beauty, attracting tourists near and far.<\/font><\/font><\/div>\n
