2. Learn the history of Pho Chieu Pagoda<\/font><\/font><\/h2>\n

The history of Pho Chieu pagoda was quite late, about 50s of the last century. <\/font>That day, there was a monk named Ngo Chan Tu from Thai Binh who came here to reclaim, build and abdicate the temple. <\/font>At first,  <\/font><\/font>Pho Chieu Pagoda in Hai Phong<\/font><\/font><\/em>  was named Tam Giao Duong, worshiping Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

According to historical books at Pho Chieu Pagoda in Hai Phong, in 1954, after a year of construction, the pagoda invited the Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quang from Nam Dinh to be the abbot. <\/font>Since then, the temple was renovated, remodeled and worshiped only Buddha, later renamed Pho Chieu pagoda. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Through many historical ups and downs, natural disasters, floods and wars, the temple was degraded, many items were damaged. <\/font>Some time later, in 1985, Pho Chieu Pagoda in Hai Phong officially underwent a major restoration, all communal houses, temples, and temple grounds were changed to be more spacious and superficial.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

3.4. <\/font>One Pillar Pagoda in the premises of Pho Chieu Pagoda<\/font><\/font><\/h3>\n
