Le Van Thinh was born on February 11, the year of the Tiger (1050) in Bao Thap village, Dong Cuu commune, Gia Dinh district, now Gia Binh district, Bac Ninh province – where has a long glorious historical tradition. <\/font>He was born in a family who both worked as a teacher, used medicine to save lives, grew up, passed the university entrance exam and became a mandarin in the early period of the Ly dynasty.<\/font><\/font><\/div>\n

Temple of Thai monk Le Van Thinh is located in the south of Thien Thai mountain. <\/font>Thien Thai mountain range is joined by 9 consecutive mountains, like a dragon winding between heaven and earth, covered with green forest trees.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Temple of  <\/font><\/font><\/i>Thai monk Le Van Thinh.<\/font><\/font><\/i><\/p>\n

This is a work of cultural beliefs and worship in memory of Thai monk Le Van Thinh. <\/font>Originally, this relic was the residence of the Thai monk’s family, after “turning into a vi tu” it became a place of worshiping both Buddha and Thai monk Le Van Thinh. <\/font>In the history of its existence, although Le Van Thinh temple was built a long time ago, every time it was degraded, it was repaired by the local right away, so the construction is still quite solid. <\/font>The current architecture of the temple is also a 3-room, 2-way building, designed in the style of a man passing his son, in the shape of the word Dinh, with a wooden door and a table, with 18 wooden columns. <\/font>The roof is covered with tiles, the walls of the house are built of stone and brick only. <\/font>The temple does not have a corner knife, in front there are two co-pillars, the yard is paved with square tiles. <\/font>The temple still keeps a lot of valuable documents and artifacts!. <\/font>The temple of Thai monk Le Van Thinh was approved by the Ministry of Culture and Information (now the Ministry of Culture,<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Thai monk Le Van Thinh is famous for being intelligent and studious from a young age. <\/font>The family situation was difficult, his parents died one after another when he was very young. <\/font>He came to teach in Chi Nhi village, Que Vo district, Bac Ninh province. <\/font>In 1075, the Ly court opened the Minh Kinh Bac Hoc exam (the first exam of the Temple of Literature, Quoc Tu Giam in Thang Long). <\/font>He passed the exam first, was honored as Poinsettia Khai Khoa and was appointed as Thi Lang Bo Binh, in charge of teaching King Ly Nhan Tong to study. <\/font>In 1084, King Ly Nhan Tong sent him to Vinh Binh camp, on the Vietnam-China border (in present-day Cao Bang) to settle the border issue between the two countries. <\/font>With his excellent diplomacy, the Song Dynasty had to return all occupied territories.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Le Van Thinh is a talented, virtuous man who has made many contributions to the country. He was promoted to Thai Su by the Ly court, the highest position in the court.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

He was a talented, honest, innovative man, so he was envied by his courtiers and sought to harm him, but he also had many supporters to protect him. <\/font>In 1096, he was falsely accused of “turning a tiger to kill the king”. <\/font>During the impeachment session, jealous courtiers joined in saying that the king’s murder should be punished with death and the death of the nine clans. <\/font>There was an official who defended him “killing the king is punishable by death, so how do you kill the teacher?” <\/font>Because the king always respected him, a scholarly teacher, respected virtue, and a referee, he forgave him for death and sent him into exile in Thao Giang, in present-day Phu Tho land. <\/font>Although he was exiled, he still lived a useful life for the country and the people. <\/font>When he was old and weak, a little exhausted, exhausted, he returned to his homeland, but came to Dinh To commune (in Thuan Thanh, <\/font>Uncle Ninh) he took his last breath. <\/font>The people of Dinh To judged his virtue and buried him carefully and honored him as the Village Citadel. <\/font>When news of his death, his paternal and maternal homeland and many other villages honored him as the Village Citadel.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Among the typical relics worshiping Thai monk Le Van Thinh is his temple in Bao Thap Hamlet, Dong Cuu Commune, Gia Binh District, Bac Ninh Province.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Especially in the relic site, there is also a stone dragon statue (Snake God) dating from the Ly dynasty, this statue has been recognized as a national treasure according to Decision No: 2599\/QD-Ttg dated December 30, 2013 of Prime Minister. <\/font>The stone dragon statue has a strange and unique body, lying in a curled-up position, with its mouth closed, its whole body has scales, its head has no beard, its size is 1.37m wide; <\/font>0.72m high is quite intact. <\/font>The image of the mascot reflects the message of the past sent to posterity about the injustice of Thai monk Le Van Thinh.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Poinsettias, Thai monk Le Van Thinh is the country’s sage. <\/font>His career name is forever preserved in history books and is honored and worshiped by the people.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
