<\/font><\/font><strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Mao Dien Temple of Literature<\/font><\/font><\/strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> &nbsp;is known as one of the few provincial temples of literature that still exist in Vietnam. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Vietnam. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The history of the Temple of Literature begins more than 500 years ago.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/designs.vn\/wp-content\/images\/06-11-2014\/van_mieu_mao_dien_20.jpg\" alt=\"van_mieu_mao_dien\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/designs.vn\/wp-content\/images\/06-11-2014\/van_mieu_mao_dien_10.jpg\" alt=\"van_mieu_mao_dien\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">During the reign of King Le Thanh Tong, the court opened a number of more schools besides Quoc Tu Giam School in the capital to promote the development of Confucianism. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In the East (including the whole of Hai Duong province, Hai Phong city, Dong Trieu district of Quang Ninh) <\/font><\/font><strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">&nbsp;, Mao Dien Temple of Literature<\/font><\/font><\/strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> &nbsp;was built both as a place to worship Confucian sages and as an exam school for the region.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">From the mid-15th century until the last exam of the Nguyen Dynasty, this place became the poetry place of Hai Duong town. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Especially during the Mac Dynasty (1527-1593), the university exam was held four times in Mao Dien.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/designs.vn\/wp-content\/images\/06-11-2014\/van_mieu_mao_dien_1.jpg\" alt=\"van_mieu_mao_dien\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Right from the time of construction <\/font><\/font><strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">&nbsp;, Mao Dien Temple of Literature<\/font><\/font><\/strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> &nbsp;has been a work with majestic and superficial cultural architecture. <\/font><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Going on Highway 5 in the direction of Hai Duong &#8211;
