History of Tranh Temple – an attractive spiritual destination of Hai Duong <\/font><\/font><\/h2>\n

Hai Duong Painting Temple <\/font><\/font><\/strong><\/em> is located about 30km south of the city center, this is a temple that any local people feel proud of. <\/font>Tranh Temple is also known as Quan Lon Tuan Tranh Temple. <\/font>In the Le – Former dynasties, the temple location was located near the Tranh wharf belonging to Real Be, Vinh Lai district, now in Dong Tam commune of Ninh Giang district. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Tranh Temple is a large temple worshiping legendary figures according to local people’s beliefs. <\/font>According to documents handed down, there are many magical legends associated with Tranh temple. <\/font>The most prominent is the legend of Quan Lon Tuan Tranh, who is worshiped in the temple. <\/font>‘<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Accordingly, Mr. Tuan Tranh was originally a mandarin of the Tran dynasty and took office in Ninh Giang district and then went to Lang Son to fight the enemy. <\/font>At that time, there were two fierce snakes at the Tranh river wharf that often harassed good people, one day they took the beautiful wife of Tuan Tranh mandarin, causing him to sue Long Vuong. <\/font>The two snakes lost, so they had to take the whole family to another place, from then on, Tranh river wharf was no longer disturbed by two snakes, people remembered their gratitude, so they built a temple to worship Tuan Tranh as a god to protect. section of the river, bless the people with good luck and cross the river safely. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Currently, there is no exact information about the construction time of Tranh temple, according to the elders, this temple was originally built on the temple of Tranh Giang Dai Vuong dating from the Hung King’s time. <\/font>Also according to the elderly,  <\/font><\/font>Tranh Hai Duong Temple<\/font><\/font><\/em><\/strong>  is located on a beautiful land with many luxuriant old trees and is especially sacred if you want to bridge the island when going to the river. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

In the Nguyen Dynasty, Tranh temple was built very majestically, with a large statue of Tuan Tranh and elaborate patterns and carvings. <\/font>In 1887, the French colonialists came to  <\/font><\/font>Hai Duong<\/font><\/font><\/strong><\/em>  and used Tranh Temple as a base for their troops, but they did not dare to destroy the temple because they knew it was very spiritual. <\/font><\/font>Hai Duong Painting Temple <\/font><\/font><\/em><\/strong> used to have a scale of 127 rooms with an area of \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b4 acres in the north. <\/font>However, in 1946, when the resistance was destroyed, the temple was ruined, leaving only 3 compartments. <\/font>In 1966, the people of Tranh Xuyen village moved the temple to its current location and restored and restored each item to preserve the national cultural heritage and become a spiritual destination for locals and tourists from all over the world. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Tranh Temple in Hai Duong is currently a great spiritual architectural work and is also one of the symbolic sacred temples of the Northwest region. <\/font>The architectural complex in the Tranh temple area includes the Tranh pagoda separated by a lake. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Quan Lon Tuan Tranh and the gate on the left is worshiping the Four Quan Lon. <\/font>The innermost space is the forbidden palace, the area behind the temple is the mother-worshiping cave. <\/font>The campus of  <\/font><\/font>Hai Duong Painting Temple<\/font><\/font><\/em><\/strong>  is quite large, so guests who come to worship or pray are very comfortable. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n
