Thai Vi temple resides in the O Lam forest, belonging to the old Vu Lam canton, today in Van Lam village, Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province. <\/font>The temple is famous for a long time, a place to worship the kings of the Tran dynasty. <\/font>In the past, the Tam Coc mountain area was the place where the Tran Dynasty came here to set up the Vu Lam palace in the resistance war against the Nguyen Mong. <\/font>Thai Vi Temple can be reached by foot from Tam Coc cruise or by road 2 km from Tam Coc boat station.<\/font><\/font>
<\/b><\/p>\n

The temple is located on the right side is Ngo Giang river, on the left is Coi Linh mountain, harmoniously blending for thousands of years, creating the legend of a Tam Coc area known as the dry Ha Long Bay. <\/font>In front of the temple door, there is a golden well containing Bach Ngoc, the four seasons are as clear as a mirror.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Coming here, we not only feel the poetic beauty of a lush green area, the fanciful caves, but also admire the architectural and artistic works of the ancients imbued with rich and unique cultural identity. and rich in tourist attractions.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Our group chose the journey to visit Thai Vi Temple by sailing the Tam Coc – Bich Dong boat from Dinh Cac wharf. <\/font>On the way back out, when we arrived at Thanh wharf, also known as Sinh wharf, opened by King Tran Thai Tong, we went ashore and walked about 50 meters, along the foothills on the left hand side, we came to Thien Huong Dong. fragrant) in Dong Vi mountain. <\/font>Thien Huong cave is located halfway up the mountain, about 15 meters higher than the ground, going up to the cave in two ways to the left and right with 30 steps to the top. <\/font>At the entrance of the cave, step up more than a meter to reach the cave floor. <\/font>The space inside is large, high and deep like a hollow inside a giant stone bell upside down.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

According to the old man from Thai Vi temple, the design of the main temple includes: The nave of Bai Duong, on the top hangs a painting of painted yellow lacquer with four large Chinese characters “Long Duc Chinh Trung”, worshiping the community on the pedestal. stone. <\/font>Next is the three pavilions of the Middle Street with two rows of round stone columns, each row of four columns, all carved with dragon clouds. <\/font>Here put the stone incense. <\/font>The two sides have a pair of 2-meter-high wooden cranes and two sets of gold-plated mortuary mounts. <\/font>Through the Middle Way into the five main pavilions, there are 8 round stone columns carved with relief: holding, exam, exam, painting. <\/font>The unique thing about Thai Vi temple is that all columns are made of tall monolithic green stones, carved very elaborately and meticulously, with flexible and elegant lines like wood carving. <\/font>Behind the majestic and silent Thai Vi temple are two dragon eyes on both sides. <\/font>Legend has it that these are two deep pits filled with rock and soil. <\/font>After a while, the land sank again, never equal to the ground. <\/font>At the Thai Vi temple ruins, there is a small temple where King Tran Thai Tong set up and stayed there to practice in the last time of his life. <\/font>According to custom, every year on March 14 (lunar calendar), Thai Vi festival is held and considered as the national holiday. <\/font>This is an opportunity for the people of Ninh Binh and the whole country to remember the great merits of the Tran kings.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The old man from Thai Vi Temple this year is approximately 80 years old, has been on duty of the temple since 2000.
