Ke Go Lake is the largest lake in Ha Tinh province built on the Rao Cai river basin, among the hillsides and mountains in Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province. <\/font>The lake is covered with forests and many kinds of precious trees and rare animals that are on the verge of extinction. <\/font>This is a charming place of clouds and water. <\/font>Ke Go Nature Reserve has been an interesting destination in the land of Ha Tinh.<\/font><\/font><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

1. Determine the coordinates of Ke Go Nature Reserve<\/font><\/font><\/h2>\n

The lake  <\/font><\/font>is located about 20km southwest of Ha Tinh city center <\/font><\/font><\/strong> in the administrative territory of three districts of Cam Xuyen, Ky Anh, Huong Khe<\/font><\/font><\/em>  and  <\/font><\/font>borders Quang Binh province to the south<\/font><\/font><\/em> . <\/font>The full name of Ke Go Nature Reserve is “National Nature Reserve in the forest area of \u200b\u200bKe Go Lake”, established by Decision No. 970\/TTg dated December 28, 1996 of the Government. <\/font>It has  <\/font><\/font>geographical coordinates 105\u00ba50′ \u2013 106\u00ba07′ East longitude and 18\u00ba00′ – 18\u00ba09′ North latitude<\/font><\/font><\/em>  with a total natural area of \u200b\u200b24,801ha.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Ke Go Lake is located in the territory of 3 districts of Cam Xuyen, Ky Anh and Huong Khe. <\/font>The lake is a great irrigation project with a reserve of 350 million m3 of water. <\/font>Provide irrigation for nearly 17,000 hectares of rice crops. <\/font>The lake is also an abundant source of food for the residential areas here.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Ke Go Lake National Nature Reserve<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  has a  <\/font><\/font>total area of \u200b\u200b35,159 ha<\/font><\/font><\/em> , of which  <\/font><\/font>24,801 ha is a conservation area<\/font><\/font><\/em>  and  <\/font><\/font>10,358 ha of protection forest<\/font><\/font><\/em> . <\/font>Here  <\/font><\/font>rich vegetation is covered by mixed evergreen forest<\/font><\/font><\/em> , typical for many flora streams of the indigenous flora of North Vietnam – South China, flora of Indonesia – Malaysia and flora of Himalayas. with  <\/font><\/font>more than 40 species of woody plants, many precious plants <\/font><\/font><\/em> such as Tau, Go, Cho chi, Kim Giao, Sen, Lat Hoa…, many types of trees listed in the Vietnam Red Book such as Green Lim, Sen Mat, Mahogany, etc. Golden heart, Gioi, Truong, Trin, Boi golden words…<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Rich and rare flora and fauna<\/font><\/font><\/h3>\n

Ke Go Lake Nature Reserve <\/font><\/font><\/strong> has a very rich flora and fauna<\/font><\/font><\/em>  with  <\/font><\/font>nearly 400 vertebrate species<\/font><\/font><\/em>  belonging to 99 families, 47 species of mammals, 298 species of birds, 100 species of reptiles and amphibians, including 18 species of mammals. was included in the Red Book of Vietnam and the world. <\/font>Here, populations of 5 endemic bird species with a narrow distribution area were found, which are blue-cresed pheasant, Ha Tinh pheasant, star pheasant…, of which blue-cresed pheasant and Ha Tinh pheasant are 2. species are threatened with extinction globally.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

In terms of plants  <\/font><\/font>, there are 567 species of higher vascular plants<\/font><\/font><\/em>  belonging to 367 genera and 117 families, common in the shrub layer with trees in the family areca palm with major species such as conifer, rattan, forest areca, and Lui. ; <\/font>In the lower carpet floor, there are crabs, tubs and other species of trees belonging to the holly family. Ke Go<\/font><\/font><\/strong> Lake  is  <\/font><\/font>the largest lake in Ha Tinh province <\/font><\/font><\/em> built on the Rao Cai river basin<\/font><\/font><\/em> , among the hillsides and mountains in Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province. <\/font>This  <\/font><\/font>is a flood prevention<\/font><\/font><\/em> work, has the effect of creating aquatic resources for the irrigation system, regulating the flow of dams such as Ke Go lake, Boc Nguyen lake and Trac river, serving irrigation for more than 21,136ha of cultivated land. of downstream residents.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n
