In early March 2021, photographer Pham Huy Trung (HCMC) had a 2-day adventure tour to discover Va – Nuoc Nut cave located in the cave complex of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

After taking a car from Son Trach commune center to Km28 West Ho Chi Minh road, the group continued to walk through the forest, through many beautiful scenes of Phong Nha – Ke Bang forest. <\/font>At the first discovery point in the journey, Nuoc Nut cave, Trung was extremely impressed with the stalagmites “precipitating” from the ceiling and stalactites “growing” from the floor in the cave.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Inside Nuoc Nut cave, there are sandy beaches and stalactites of different shapes. <\/font>The cave was first discovered in 2003, and the mouth of the cave was discovered in 2012.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Huge cave arch and giant stalagmite wall in Nuoc Nut cave. <\/font>Cave experts said that based on geological survey results, Nuoc Crack is 2.2 km long and is about 2 million years old. <\/font>The cave is being exploited for tourism from February to the end of August every year.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

After exploring Nuoc Nut cave, Trung’s group camped for one night above the cave entrance and continued trekking in Va cave the next day. <\/font>In the photo are stalactites of various shapes in Va cave. <\/font>The two caves have special tectonics thanks to the water circuit connecting with Son Doong cave.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

In 2012, Mr. Ho Khanh brought a team of British cave experts to the entrance of the cave. <\/font>The total length of cave Va surveyed and recognized is 1.6 km.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The underground river has fanciful blue water color in Va cave. <\/font>In the system of more than 300 caves discovered in Phong Nha – Ke Bang, Va cave is one of the most precious.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Blurry scene inside Va cave. <\/font>Trung shared: “There is no light in the cave, so when taking pictures, a large-capacity projector system is needed to take a better picture.”<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

During the exploration of Va cave, the group used a keychain and specialized pulley belt to move through the stalactite walls over ten meters high. <\/font>The journey requires visitors to be in good health and some basic climbing skills.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The author of the photo series said that all feelings of fatigue disappeared when the Thap Non stalactite lake appeared in Va cave. <\/font>Hundreds of these stalactites grow up like shoots of bamboo shoots, quite uniform in size, about 2 m high.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Experts say that the stalactites here are rare and unique, almost nowhere else in the world, so Thap Non stalactite lake is also named “Tha Thuy cave”.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Scientists have not really discovered the formation of conical stalactites. <\/font>They are “living” in the water, growing from under the lake, not forming thanks to the small water flow from above like in other caves.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

At the end of the journey, Trung compared the scene in Va cave and Nuoc Nut cave to paradise. <\/font>The itinerary is suitable for those who love sports, nature and photography enthusiasts.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n
