Located in Tho Son village, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province and about 3km from National Highway 1A,  <\/font><\/font>Vung Chua – Yen Island<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  is known as the resting place of the heroic general of the nation Vo Nguyen Giap. <\/font>This area has an area of \u200b\u200babout 10 hectares and is located right at the foot of the majestic Ngang Pass. <\/font>Vung Chua is a clear blue beach, stretching white sand and surrounded by a peaceful scene of immense green forests. <\/font>Vung Chua faces the East Sea, but here it is quite airtight, so this place is said to be a land with a rather favorable location.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Local people have recounted that in the past, this land was called Hon Nom based on the way to calculate the direction. <\/font>However, later, a company brought swiftlets here to raise them to exploit swiftlets, so from here there are many swiftlets to reside. <\/font>The name  <\/font><\/font>Yen Quang Binh island<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  also comes from that.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

So where does the name  <\/font><\/font>Vung Chua<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  come from? <\/font>According to local people, in the past, there was a large temple in this area, but now through the ups and downs of time, only traces of the temple remain, but the name Vung Chua comes from there. <\/font>This area is also surrounded by 3 islands which are Hon La, Hon Gio and Hon Nom forming a three-legged triangle, so it is quite airtight, so boats often anchor when there is a storm.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The ancient tomb of the famous general<\/font><\/font><\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n
