Tam Co Cave<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  is the tragic historical story of 20-year-old heroes, this place is not only carved by many generations of Vietnamese people but also admired by international friends.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Drinking water to remember the source is a good tradition of the Vietnamese people, which has been preserved and promoted for thousands of generations. <\/font>For that reason, the Memorial Day of Heroes and Martyrs who died at 8 Co Cave, Street 20 – Quyet Thang is an annual activity organized by Phong Nha – Ke Bang to express the deep gratitude of generations. Vietnamese people before the heroic sacrifices for independence and freedom of the heroes and martyrs.<\/font><\/font><\/div>\n

The Memorial of Heroes and Martyrs Hang 8 usually takes place at the end of November every year to commemorate the fallen Heroes and martyrs.<\/font><\/font><\/div>\n

There is a legendary story, always haunting in the minds of many people about bravery, heroism and holiness – Legend of Tam Co Cave.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Tam Co Cave is located on 20 Quyet Thang Street<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On a dreary and cold winter day,  <\/font><\/font>the TNXP squad<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  consisting of 4 men and 4 women rushed into a small cave in the middle of the Truong Son Mountains to avoid bombs. <\/font>That 20-day road seemed to be plowed, the mountains and forests trembled, and when the smoke cleared, people were shocked to realize that the cave entrance had been filled.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Either way, the comrades could not open the way for the brothers and sisters to return. <\/font>And just like that, after 9 days and nights of searching in vain, the last breath disappeared into the void.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Then somewhere from above, your sister’s words come back, joining the words of the mountains and rivers: Those who stay, live for us!!!<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

“Falling body becomes the land of the Fatherland, the <\/font><\/font>
soul ascends to become the national spirit”<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Whenever the day of the martyrs’ sacrifices is near, the banana tree in front of the cave will grow 8 heads.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Bananas are 8 bunches, geckos lay 8 eggs, cry for 8 hours and then disappear<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Nearly 50 years have passed since the day 8 young volunteers died in Tam Co cave (Quang Binh), Vietnamese people always remember their victories and remember the Martyrs.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Their names have become legends on Route 20 \u2013 Quyet Thang.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n
