Road 9 National Cemetery<\/font><\/font><\/strong><\/em>  is located on Highway 9, Ward 4, located in the west, about 6km from the center of Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province. <\/font>Therefore, visitors can choose from many different means of transportation to visit and visit the graves of heroes and martyrs at this cemetery. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

– Bus: <\/font><\/font><\/em> From Hanoi, please buy tickets for flights from Hanoi to Quang Tri or from Hanoi to Hue and then down to Quang Tri. <\/font>Some garages for your reference such as: Hoa Hong, Quang Luyen, Quang Tuu, Minh Map. <\/font>If departing from Saigon, you can choose Quang Loc, Duc Trang, Tien Thanh, and Tien Dat Thanh bus companies.  <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

– Railway: <\/font><\/font><\/em> Trains from Hanoi to Dong Ha City will take about 12 hours to travel, trains from Saigon Station will take about 20-24 hours. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

– Airplane: <\/font><\/font><\/em> Those who live in more remote provinces can use the plane to save travel time. <\/font>However, at present, Quang Tri still does not have an airport, so you need to take flights to the airport in Quang Binh – or Hue. <\/font>When you get off the airport, you go to the bus station to catch a bus or you can also take the train to Quang Tri, it will take about 2 hours to arrive.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Road 9 National Cemetery <\/font><\/font><\/strong><\/em> was built in 1983, so far this cemetery has become a destination for many residents and visitors. <\/font>The 9th Street Martyrs Cemetery, built in 1995, is the resting place of thousands of heroes and martyrs of all ranks and military ranks. <\/font>They are soldiers, militiamen, young volunteers who sacrificed themselves to save the country. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The cemetery has 16 items with a capital of 13 billion VND, including the monument area and the solemn ceremony area. <\/font>The total area of \u200b\u200bthis area is 13 hectares, with about 10,000 tombs of heroes and martyrs. <\/font>Of these, there are only more than 3,000 graves with exact identities.<\/font><\/font>

The monument at  <\/font><\/font>Road 9 National Cemetery<\/font><\/font><\/strong><\/em>  is 18m high with a pedestal consisting of 2 graves. <\/font>The eastern tomb and the western tomb have their own meanings. <\/font>The monument is the image of a soldier and a Laotian baby and a young girl carrying the joy of liberation day. <\/font>The monument represents the neighboring connection between Vietnam and your country.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The ceremony area includes 4 clusters of statues, a memorial house and a bas-relief. <\/font>Memorial house and 3 reliefs. <\/font>The area of \u200b\u200bthis area is 90 square meters with a structure of 4 circular columns and 4 roofs. <\/font>The roof of the memorial has a 5-pointed star of Vietnam. <\/font>The memorial house consists of 3 reliefs located in the East, West and South. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n
