This bridge has a long history full of heroic and tragic. <\/font>In 1904 the French began to build  <\/font><\/font>Ham Rong bridge<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  with a steel arch. <\/font>The structure of the bridge is similar to the Long Bien bridge in Hanoi, in the middle there is a track for trains to run through, on both sides is a road for cars and rudimentary vehicles.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

In 2000, Hoang Long bridge was built right next to Ham Rong, the road divided the burden, traffic across the Ma River was busier than ever. <\/font>Currently, the old bridge only serves the main railway traffic.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Since the new bridge was built, Ham Rong Bridge has been less crowded, but this is still an ideal dating place for many couples, a gathering place for groups of white-shirted students.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Thanh Hoa Ham Rong Bridge<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  crosses the Ma River as a historical witness, a famous sightseeing landmark of Thanh Hoa City. <\/font>Student groups often organize excursions and picnics in combination with Ham Rong bridge to educate patriotic spirit.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Looking down from the bridge, the Ma river flows quietly, the flow is calm, bringing with it the amount of red alluvium that fills the heroic land.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

In the afternoon, many people often stand on the bridge watching the sunset gradually fall, every time a train passes through the bridge floor vibrates into a rhythm, it seems that you can feel each rivet, each snail is straining to not was left out. <\/font>Each passing train obscured the golden afternoon sunlight, sometimes hiding and sometimes following the rhythm of the track.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The sunset seen from the bridge is clear in every line, the scene is tinged with dark colors in the weak sunlight at the end of the day.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

During the war  <\/font><\/font>, Ham Rong bridge<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  had a very important position, helping the Vietnamese army win many victories, ensuring the military route. <\/font>Here, the Vietnamese army shot down many planes and protected the bridge for a long time.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

More than a scenic spot,  <\/font><\/font>Ham Rong Bridge<\/font><\/font><\/strong>  is famous for its historical significance as a magnificent monument that has gone through years of war and has protected the North-South artery with generations. <\/font>During the war years, the enemy identified Ham Rong Bridge as an “ideal dead end”, so they tried to organize air raids with heavy bombs. <\/font>The sky of Ham Rong was dyed with black smoke, and the roar of the plane’s engine tore apart the peaceful sky of Thanh. <\/font>On the return day, the anti-aircraft artillery soldiers at Ham Rong hot spot couldn’t help but be moved, everything seemed to have just happened. <\/font>Standing on the bridge thinking about a distant place, the sound of bombs, the sound of jet engines is still in my ears.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The victories and sacrifices at Ham Rong Bridge are one of the direct causes for the successful reunification of the country, encouraging the fighting spirit of the whole nation.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

On the other side of the bridge is Dau Rong Mountain to receive a span of the bridge, a French architect once assessed that it is because of the inclination of the mountain and the geological structure of the river bed that the construction of Ham Rong bridge piers becomes very difficult. <\/font>For the French, building bridges and roads is an essential need for convenient exploitation and exploitation of resources. <\/font>Therefore, Ham Rong Bridge was built by a combination of many experts and engineers from France, Italy, and Germany.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

After visiting Ham Rong bridge, you can go up the mountain to enter Long Quang cave. <\/font>This place has welcomed the footsteps of many famous people such as Nguyen Trai, Le Thanh Tong and many other writers. <\/font>Each cliff, each path is covered with green trees.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Opposite Dau Rong Mountain on the north bank of the Ma River is Ngoc Mountain. <\/font>From the air, it looks like a dragon’s head releasing gems. <\/font>The masterpiece of nature has given this place a very unique and poetic scene. <\/font>The bridge has welcomed many footsteps over the years, every trip across Ham Rong bridge seems to hold back a traveler leaving many beautiful memories on that trip.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Ham Rong Bridge belongs to Thanh Hoa City and is only about 7 km from the city center. <\/font>Visiting Ham Rong Bridge, you can combine to go to some more places not far from the city such as: Ben En National Park, Sam Son beach, Trong Mai island, Lam Kinh relic …<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n
