Brief introduction about An Hien garden house<\/font><\/font><\/h2>\n

An Hien garden house is located on the north bank of the Perfume River, west of the citadel, in the land of Kim Long, the house is located at 58 Nguyen Phuc Nguyen Street, Xuan Hoa Village, Huong Long Commune, Hue City, Thien Mu Pagodas not far.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

According to historical records, before 1895, the first owner of this place was the 18th princess of King Duc Duc, then this place was the princess residence. <\/font>However, after that, because of the individual circumstances of each owner, and the historical background, the house changed hands many times, all of them were princes, mandarins and elites in Hue.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The owner who has been with the longest is Mrs. Dao Thi Xuan Yen, who inherited the house from 1936 to 1997 when her husband died. <\/font>Ms. Xuan Yen is the wife of Mr. Tuan Vu Nguyen Dinh Chi, at this time he is holding the position of the Ha Tinh Provincial Government, his grandparents are educated people, so An Hien is also often frequented by many intellectuals. <\/font>After Mrs. Tuan Chi passed away (1997), for some reason the gardener had no one to take care of, so it gradually faded and deteriorated heavily. <\/font>In 2018, the garden house was bought by Silk Path Hotel Company in Hanoi, which made the people of Hue very worried. <\/font>Fortunately, however, Silk Path has kept the garden house intact and found ways to restore the unique values \u200b\u200bof An Hien.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The main architecture of An Hien garden house is a house with 3 compartments and 2 wings. <\/font>The middle space is the worship space, with the principle of arranging “before the Buddha, after the spirit”. <\/font>The two compartments on both sides are the place to receive guests according to the principle of “left man, right woman”, the two wings are similar, the left is the place for men to live and the right is the place for women to live.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The entire frame structure in the house is made of wood. <\/font>The patterns and textures are carved and sculpted extremely delicately. <\/font>The roof is covered with many layers of tiles, the roof banks on both sides are covered with dragons, in the middle of the roof is a lotus shape. <\/font>The house has many precious memorabilia of the Nguyen dynasty. <\/font>It is the four-word horizontal painting “Van Vo Trung Hieu” given to his family by King Bao Dai in 1937, currently hanging in the middle, and many poems of King Thanh Thai, now also hanging in the reception area in the house. .<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n
