Every time I come to Da Lat for work, I take advantage of the little rest time to explore the beauty and delicious food of this foggy country. <\/font>Dalat cuisine is very rich and interesting, even the name evokes great curiosity. <\/font>Among the very good street food here, there is a dish called “X\u00e8o X\u00e8o”, so special that my friend from Da Lat said that if you come here and haven’t eaten yet, it would be a big mistake. .<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

At first glance, the arrangement was quite similar to beef jerky in Saigon (Northern people call it dry beef salad) so I was a bit disappointed, but it wasn’t until the restaurant that I understood why the sidewalks of the shops were packed with people. so. <\/font>Da Lat Xap Xuong is also made from papaya, beef jerky, beef lung, pork liver, herbs, chili and water. <\/font>Papaya, you must choose green fruit, the new fiber will be crispy, peel off the skin and pus, wash it, and shave it into long thin fibers. <\/font>Beef jerky, beef lungs must be rimmed with five flavors to dry, cut or shred. <\/font>Da Lat cassava water is made from tamarind juice with moderate acidity, not too sweet or spicy, so it has its own characteristics. <\/font>I guess what makes this dish different is partly because it’s not as sour as in Saigon and not as rich and spicy as the beef jerky of the Da Nang people.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

In fact, the arrangement is the common name that the street vendors here put according to the way the ingredients are arranged on the plate to be sold to customers. <\/font>The first is to put grated papaya at the bottom, beef on top, then add a little basil for fragrance, add sweet and sour chili fish sauce, mix well before eating. <\/font>In the chilly afternoon of Da Lat, sitting by Xuan Huong Lake with a fragrant dish, thinking back to my friend’s words, I can feel it, perhaps not only because of the taste but also the space and weather that Da Lat has made. Xap Xuong is a very popular snack in Da Lat, but the most delicious, you have to go to the sidewalk shops around Xuan Huong Lake to feel it.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n
