1. When is the best time to travel to Cua Lo Nghe An?

Traveling to Cua Lo Nghe An, visitors have the opportunity to explore Cua Lo beach – one of the most beautiful beaches in the North Central region. The sea belongs to Cua Lo commune,  located 16km northeast of Vinh city . If you go from Hanoi, the distance is 340km, if you go from Ho Chi Minh City, the distance is 1402km.

The best time to travel to Cua Lo Nghe An, especially for those who want to go to the beach, is in  the summer  (around April to August). At this time, the weather is dry and sunny, you can comfortably enjoy your schedules and record beautiful moments. With the advantage of convenient transportation, many attractive tourist attractions, rich cuisine, Cua Lo Nghe An is an attractive destination for many tourists.

2. Means of transportation to Cua Lo Nghe An?

Moving to Cua Lo Nghe An, visitors can choose to go by plane, train, car or private vehicle. 

• Airplane:  Traveling to Cua Lo Nghe An, if traveling by plane, it will take about 1-3 hours, departing from Hanoi, Da Nang, Da Lat, Buon Ma Thuot, Saigon. However, one disadvantage is that the airport is quite far from Cua Lo beach, about 8 – 9km. So it may take you more time to wait, check-in, taxi rental costs…

• Train:  taking the train is also an interesting and cost-effective option. Train ticket price to Cua Lo Nghe An is about 450,000 – 650,000 VND depending on the day.

• By car:  choose a car to go to Cua Lo Nghe An, you can choose a Limousine. Travel time takes about 5 hours (reference price is about 300,000 – 400,000 VND). With a regular bus, the travel time takes about 7 hours. You can refer to the ticket price of more than 200,000 VND. 3. Where to play when traveling to Cua Lo Nghe An?

What does Cua Lo Nghe An tourism have? Coming to Cua Lo Nghe An, you definitely cannot ignore the famous tourist attractions below!

3.1. Cua Lo Beach

Cua Lo Beach Nghe An is 16km northeast of Vinh city center. The sea is known as one of the most beautiful beaches in North Central – Vietnam.

The sea attracts tourists not only by its poetic natural beauty with blue sea, white sand, and sunshine, but also creating many impressions with special folklore activities during the festive season or fireworks. voyeuristic at the end of the tourist season (around the end of September).

3.2. Cua Hoi eco-tourism area

Cua Hoi eco-tourism area is 15km from Vinh city, located at the intersection between Binh Minh street (Cua Lo commune) and Vinh – Cua Hoi street. The eco-zone was established in 2000 on a campus of more than 5 hectares. Nestled under the green casuarina forest, this is the ideal destination for those who want to escape the noisy atmosphere of the city, find peace & relax in their souls.

A special feature, from the ecological area, you can see Ngu Island, also known as Bilingual Island because there are two consecutive islands. “Pisces wide sea” is where you see the gravel beach for kilometers and immerse yourself in the cool blue water at “Fairy Beach”.

3.3. Van Loc Temple

Coming to Cua Lo, tourists definitely cannot ignore Dai Loc temple – one of the famous historical and cultural relics in Cua Lo. The temple is located in Nghi Tan ward, Cua Lo commune, Nghe An. The two words “Van Loc” have a very great meaning “all flowers and thousands of fortune pour into this land”.

Not only has a special name, the temple is located in a very special location. In front of Van Loc temple is the Cam river, behind the temple is Lo mountain, on the left is Tuong Son mountain, on the right is Dragon mountain creating the “charming water” and “dragon Chau tiger dress” pose. The temple was recognized by the State as a national historical and cultural relic in 1991.

3.4. Lanzhou Island

Traveling to Cua Lo Nghe An, take time to Lan Chau Island. This place is located close to Cua Lo beach, famous for its unique natural scenery with the shape of a giant toad reaching out. This is also the reason why Lan Chau Island is also known as Ru Coc Island.

With the appearance of Lan Chau island, Cua Lo sea is divided into two areas. At low tide, the West connects to the mainland, the East appears craggy cliffs on the sea. When the tide is high, all the island’s feet are hidden under the clear blue sea.

3.5. Sen Village Historic Site

Traveling to Cua Lo Nghe An, do not forget to visit the hometown of Uncle Ho – the amazing leader of the Vietnamese nation. Sen village is located in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An; about 30km from Cua Lo.

This place keeps many artifacts and memories associated with the childhood life of Uncle and his family. At the same time, the Sen Lang relic site also has a memorial area, a gallery and many other historical works for visitors to visit.

3.6. Ong Hoang Muoi Temple

Ong Hoang Muoi Temple is a famous spiritual destination for tourists to Cua Lo Nghe An. The temple was built in 1634 of the Later Le Dynasty in Hung Thinh Commune, Hung Nguyen District, Nghe An. The temple worships Quan Hoang Muoi – who made a great contribution to “protecting the nation and protecting the people” and a number of other gods such as: District Cong Trinh Trung, Le Khoi, Mother Goddesses of Four Palaces, Song Dong Ngoc Nu.

3.7. Dai Tue Pagoda

Dai Tue Pagoda is located on the highest peak of Dai Tue mountain range, in Nam Anh commune – Nam Dan district – Nghe An province. The pagoda is located on a campus of about 600m2 to worship Buddha Dai Tue – representing the wisdom of the Buddha. Quiet space, lyrical scenery brings a sense of purity to anyone who makes a pilgrimage to the temple.

4.1. Delicious dishes in Cua Lo must try
