Phat Tich Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda is located in Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province. This is the first temple built on the northern border land of the country.
Inaugurated on December 15, 2014, Truc Lam Ban Gioc Buddhist Temple was built spaciously on an area of 3 hectares, leaning against Phia Nham mountain, about 500m from Ban Gioc waterfall, with the main direction overlooking the panoramic view of Ban Gioc waterfall. . At the location where the pagoda is located, you can see the rice fields, the white water of the majestic Ban Gioc waterfall between the mountains and the sky.
The pagoda is designed in a pure Vietnamese architecture with ironwood structure, traditional brick and tile materials, traditional sword roof, Vietnamese couplet system. The pagoda was built with a full range of items: Tam Quan, Quan Am Bodhisattva statue campus, Tam Bao building, Ancestral church, Mother temple worshiping Vietnam Trieu To Hung Vuong, Duc Thanh Tran, Eden garden, statue garden Arhat, the temple of hero Nung Tri Cao – a character, cultural symbol of the 11th century in Cao Bang, who has military and diplomatic skills, has great merit in preserving and protecting the northern border of the Vietnamese Fatherland. The highlight of the temple is the bronze bell tower of Dai Hong Chung Thien Bao weighing 1.5 tons.
