The word name is Tam Bao Pagoda, also known as Tu General Pagoda or Tu Lien Pagoda, located in Tu Lien commune, Tu Liem district, Hanoi city. The temple belongs to the Northern sect.
The pagoda was built in the Later Le Dynasty. The pagoda’s documents show that the pagoda was built in the reign of King Le Than Tong, the third year of Duc Long (1631).
The temple was renovated several times. In 1992, Sister Thich Nu Dam Doan organized the restoration of the temple with solid materials, inaugurated on October 20, 1992. The main hall is decorated with respect.

The pagoda still retains a stele dating to the 3rd year of the Duc Long era (1631), the stele is made of green stone placed on the back of a turtle, 1.25m high, 0.78m wide, 0.25m high decorated forehead. the pattern of the sun, sparks, 2 dragons flanking both sides, twisted clouds, 4 letters Tam Bao self bi is nested in 4 stylized leaf molds, the heart of the stele is 0.98m x 0.70m. Both sides of the stele have 35 lines on each side, 55 words/line on average, deep and beautiful engraving. The rim of the beer is decorated with buttons, the rim of the beer is decorated with stylized water waves. The stele does not have the name of the person who composed the epitaph, but from the content, it can be guessed that the composer is a successful mandarin and knowledgeable about local history.

On the second side, the content of the epitaph shows a list of 502 people who have been included in the “Hung Gong station”, including Chau villagers (Tam Bao, Van Bao, Bao Xuyen), mandarins in the Le Trinh dynasty, and their wives and children. and visitors from all over the world contributed to the restoration of Tam Bao pagoda.
The pagoda has been recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Information as a national historical and cultural relic.
