The name of a temple in Ngoc Thuy commune, Gia Lam district. The pagoda is also known as An Xa, Bac Bien. In the past, this pagoda was originally An Xa pagoda, a famous place dating from before Ly Thai To’s time.
About 1,000 years ago, when Ly Thai To moved the capital to Thang Long, the An Xa people had to give up their land for the court to build a forbidden palace, then migrated to the middle of the Red River, more than 700 years later the villagers moved there. settled north of the river. The bell of An Xa pagoda, Bac Bien village today is a valuable historical record showing the broken marriages of An Xa people.
