1. Dong Loc junction belongs to which province?
Where is Dong Loc junction? This is a historical site of Ha Tinh province with an area of about 50 hectares. 2.1. Legend of 10 girls at Dong Loc junction
The location of Dong Loc junction is the intersection of National Highway 15A and Provincial Road 2 (Ha Tinh). During the years of the war against the US, all aid routes from the North to the South had to go through this place. Because of this danger, the US Air Force continuously sent bombers to attack Dong Loc in order to cut off the traffic arteries of our army and people towards the South. Therefore, Dong Loc is also known as the “death coordinate” when every m2 here has to carry up to 3 blockbusters.

At noon on July 24, 1968, Battalion 4 (led by Ms. Vo Thi Tan as a squad leader) of Company 552 was ordered to level up the bomb craters in the area where the enemy had just bombed to clear the way for vehicles to pass. Receiving the task, the sisters went to the scene to rush to level and pave the way. At 16:30, the 15th bomb of the day fell on Dong Loc. One bomb hit 10 girls. The whole battlefield fell silent, then burst into tears. The girls sacrificed themselves at the most beautiful age of their lives.

When traveling to Dong Loc fork, tourists should stop by, light incense sticks at the grave of 10 girls who have heroically sacrificed here. 10 graves are located at the foot of Tro Voi mountain, only 30 meters from the memorial house. 2.2.2. The memorial house for young volunteers nationwide
The memorial stele was built in 1998, restored in 2007, engraved with the names of nearly 4,000 heroes, national youth volunteer martyrs and martyrs who heroically sacrificed themselves at Dong Loc junction. The stele house records the heroic and tragic page of history, pays tribute to the heroes who did not spare their youth and blood, sacrificed for the victory of the country.

2.2.7. Dong Loc bell tower
The bell tower was inaugurated on January 2, 2011, including 7 floors, 8 roofs, 37m high. The top of the bell tower hangs a bell weighing 5.7 tons. Climbing through the spiral staircase to the top of the tower, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Dong Loc and the surrounding peaceful surroundings of pine hills, villages, and fields.
