Architecture of Banh It tower complex 

Going from the outside to the inside, visitors will first admire the beauty of the eastern gate tower of the  Cham cultural architectural complex  with a height of about 13m. The gate tower was built according to the square plan of 7mx7m according to Gopura architecture. This is a typical architectural style of the Champa period. With two connecting doors, one of which is facing east. And a door facing the main tower.

Moving to the south of  the architectural complex of Banh It tower,  visitors will experience the beauty of the southern gate tower. This southern gate tower is also known as Beer tower and is about 10m high. Beer Tower was also built based on Binh Dinh architecture. However, the distinctive feature of the beer tower architecture is the Posah architectural style. The three floors of the tower’s roof are overlapped and gradually smaller towards the top of the tower. All have created a unique beauty for this tower.

The Main Tower was built on top of a hill, over 20m high. Unlike the East Gate Tower and Beer Tower, the main tower of  this Cham architectural complex  was built based on the Kalan architecture. The walls were built elegantly, but very solidly and steadily over the years. On the roof floors are designed systems of columns and false doors.

Some rooftops have decorative motifs imbued with the cultural style of the Cham people. Typically, on the first floor, there are decorative motifs such as the lion image in the south, or the decoration of the god Nandin, while the north side is Kala’s face looking straight ahead and inside are stone statues. All have shown the cultural beliefs of worshiping gods of the ancient Champa people.
