In the past, Bac Son Flower Valley was the main area for farmers to grow maize. Realizing that the income from corn farming is very low, not commensurate with the area’s terrain, some economic giants have come here to learn and want to develop this area’s economy more strongly. Among them is Phu Loc – Phu Tai Tourism Joint Stock Company, which has rented land in this area for investment and development. They started to build a project to plant flowers, serving the needs of today’s youth virtual check-in.

The starting point of project development is only 7 hectares of land. After that, because of the increased demand of tourists, Bac Son Flower Valley has increased 3 times. And now the area has reached the milestone of more than 20ha. The living standard of the people here has also been significantly improved. They started to switch from farming to doing works serving tourists to tourists. Hostels, restaurants, sightseeing shuttles, check-in photo spots are now springing up like mushrooms. Accidentally created a flower valley with many virtual check-in points that are considered the largest in Vietnam.

Roasted pig :  Lang Son roast pig is very famous in the tourist village because of its very own distinctive flavors. Pigs after slaughtering, preliminarily processed with guava leaf juice. Continue to stuff the pig’s belly with the flavorings of the mountains such as cardamom, aniseed, macadamia leaves, cinnamon… In the last stage, the pig is roasted over hot coals. During the filming process, a wet cloth must be used to wipe the outer skin of the pig. The purpose is to not be scorched and more evenly colored. When the pig is close, it is necessary to use a stick to poke around to let the pork fat melt, when eating, it will be less tired. Pork is golden yellow, delicious and fragrant. One bite is enough to feel the crunchy taste of the crust.

Roast duck :  The roast duck in Lang Son is selected very carefully, the first must be Bau That Khe duck. Then marinate more flavors: onions, pepper, hook honey, stuff inside the duck and sew it up. The outside of the duck is soaked in honey and left for about 10 minutes. Now visitors just need to roast the duck on the brazier for 15 minutes. After the roast is finished, people bring the duck to the pan of extra fat to fry. Then take it out to cool it can be used. Duck meat must be soaked in honey color, the meat eaten is rich and tender. A special feature of this specialty is in the processing process. When roasting duck requires a technique of not burning black, must ensure the heat, the longer the roasting, the more fragrant the meat will be.

Humiliated stitches : Humiliated stitches are also known as lying sutures. This is a traditional dish of the highlanders in Lang Son. The process of making this dish is quite sophisticated because it must be thoroughly marinated with spices such as basil, five flavors, terracotta, honey, wine… The main ingredients are minced pork belly and dried onions. Then bring it out to steam for a long time. This specialty used as bait to aim for wine is very delicious, especially in the cold in Lang.

Sour Pho : Sour Pho is processed very sophisticatedly and has an extremely attractive taste. Sour Pho must be eaten by visitors to fully enjoy the special flavor of this dish. Currently, sour pho is sold only near the Bac Son Lang Son Flower Valley.

Huu Lung grilled spring rolls : This dish is attractive thanks to the selection of ingredients, that is, the shoulder cut pork is not too lean nor too fat. Pork must be fresh, not frozen. People cut into small pieces, shaved pork skin, and boiled it. Then mix the meat and skin with hearing powder and wrap it with fresh banana leaves. Then bring it to a charcoal grill to scorch the leaves. This dish is best eaten with clove leaves, fig leaves dipped in chili sauce. The sour, sweet and spicy taste creates an irresistible taste.
