History of Quoc Hoc School:
- On October 23, 1896, Quoc Hoc Hue School was built at the request of King Thanh Thai. The original name was Phap Tu Quoc school and a place specializing in teaching French to primary school students. After that, the school also taught both Confucian and Quoc Ngu characters.
- From 1896 – 1936, the school changed its name to Quoc Hoc School.
- From 1936 – 1954, the school changed its name to Khai Dinh High School.
- From 1955 – 1956, the school changed its name to Ngo Dinh Diem High School.
- In 1956, on the 60th anniversary of its establishment, the school changed its name to Quoc Hoc school.
- After that, the school was remodeled according to the French architecture of the 20th century and has been preserved until now.
