Light cave, dark cave

Passing 300 stone steps up to the three-way gate, before turning into the gate, look to the side of the slope, there is a fork that leads to the light and dark caves. Bright cave is a place to worship God and Buddha, as the name suggests, there is enough natural light, right outside the door is a statue of two majestic gods with fierce faces, deep inside is a place to worship Buddha. The cave is about 25 m deep, 15 m wide, more than 2 m high, going all the way to the end of the cave you will come to the temple of the sacred Cao Son god.

The dark side of the cave is arranged with a lighting system to create a quite fanciful scene, above the stalactites formed by underground water. The steps of the path are vividly decorated with winding dragons. In the middle, there is a natural well that regulates the air, making visitors feel cool when entering the cave. Here, there are statues of mothers and fairies, many worshiping statues are placed deep in the rock nooks and have their own worshiping objects.

Once he went to the mountain to find a cure for the king, he accidentally discovered a beautiful cave, so he built a temple to worship Buddha. He is not only a famous celebrity who dispenses medicine to help people, but he is also respected as the ancestor of bronze casting. For a long time, he worked hard to research and understand the origin of Dong Son civilization in ancient Vietnam, and collected antique bronzes for the purpose of restoring the lost traditional bronze casting profession.

The new Bai Dinh Pagoda  is also famous for many large-scale construction items in Southeast Asia. The largest bronze bell in Vietnam has a height of 5.5 m, a diameter of 3.5 m and a weight of 36 tons. The bronze bell is carved with many different pieces of ancient Chinese characters and decorated with lively floating dragons.
