WHERE IS THE REPAIR?

 Thai Nguyen (literal name: Phu Lien Tu, Phu Chan Thien Tu) is a temple located at Group 23, Hoang Van Thu ward, Thai Nguyen city, Thai Nguyen province. The pagoda is named after Phu Lien village – a village built in the Ly dynasty, still known as Phu Lien incense. The pagoda also has another name, “Phu Chan Zen Monastery”, which means to protect and protect the true things.

Previously, the original pagoda was built on a low hill near the bank of Cau River in the northeast area of โ€‹โ€‹Phu Lien commune, Tuc Duyen canton, Dong Hy district. In 1896, when the French colonialists invaded and pacified Thai Nguyen province, they intended to build a legation at this location, so the pagoda was moved to its present location.

INTRODUCTION TO FIRE REPAIR THAI NGUYEN

Phu Lien Pagoda is also known as Phu Chan Thien Tu Pagoda. The pagoda is located on a low hill near the bank of Cau River, in the territory of Phu Lien commune, Tuc Duyen canton, Dong Hy district.

However, in 1896, when the French colonialists chose this location to build the official residence, the temple was moved to Hoang Van Thu Ward, Thai Nguyen City.

In the temple grounds, there are 2 stupas built, this is where the ashes of the abbots at the temple are kept. Experiencing the fierce resistance war, Phu Lien Pagoda was almost completely destroyed, leaving only a small part of the Holy Mother Church and the Patriarch’s throne.

Through many restorations, until now, Phu Lien pagoda has been restored. In the current temple premises, there are important works such as: Three Jewels House, Ancestral Church, Mother Palace, and Ancient Tower Garden. In front of the temple yard, there is also a magical statue of Buddha Quan. Notably, the pagoda still retains a great self-adhesive gold inscription, engraved with “Linh Son blessed land”, which means sacred mountain, good land.


THE FOUNDATION HISTORY OF THE PHU LIEN THAI NGUYEN CURRENCY

During the resistance war against the invading French colonialists, Phu Lien pagoda was heavily destroyed for the purpose of destroying the land. At that time, the pagoda only remained the Dharma Patriarch’s throne and a small part of the Holy Mother Church.

The pagoda was restored on a large scale in 1975 and 1996. The architectural items of the pagoda were fully restored, including: Tam Bao House, Mother Palace, Ancestral Church, ancient tower garden and Quan Am Buddha statue. magic in the temple yard. 

 

By 2007, the government at all levels, along with the people, near and far Buddhists have made merit of rebuilding the temple’s Ancestral Hall. At the same time, implementing a plan to complete the works of an ancient temple to welcome visitors. The space of the pagoda today is quite spacious with many old trees on the land of about 7000m2.

FESTIVAL FESTIVAL THAI NGUYEN NGUYEN

Every year, on the 12th day of the first lunar month, Phu Lien Pagoda welcomes thousands of visitors from all over the world to come here to offer incense to the Buddha and attend a great ceremony at the temple. 

Most Buddhists come here to pray for a peaceful and happy new year, ask for strength and fortune. In addition to the ceremony, the temple also launched many traditional cultural activities, enchanting arts such as cockfighting, poetry commenting, reading literature, chess, folk games, etc.

Activities imbued with traditional culture of Thai Nguyen people, become an indispensable spiritual dish every spring and Tet holiday.

METHODS OF TRANSFER TO THE PH LIEN THAI NGUYEN CREAM

  • Motorbike : Starting from Hanoi, visitors go in the direction of Vo Chi Cong, cross Nhat Tan bridge, go to Vo Nguyen Giap, then turn right to Highway 18, onto the highway Hanoi – Thai Nguyen. From here, you go straight to National Highway 3, then turn right through Quang Trung – Hoang Van Thu street to Phu Lien pagoda.

This distance is 86km long, it will take visitors 1 hour and half an hour to get to the temple. In addition to this road, you can also go in the direction of Highway 07, to Thai Nguyen city, turn to Quang Trung and Hoang Van Thu streets and then go to lane 95 Phu Lien to reach Phu Lien pagoda.

  • Bus : Every day at My Dinh bus station, there are many bus companies running the Hanoi – Thai Nguyen capital route. With prices ranging from 100-150k / person.
