At the Temple of Duc Quoc To Lac Long Quan, the death anniversary ceremony of Duc Quoc To is performed solemnly and respectfully according to traditional rituals. Before the heroic spirit of Duc Quoc To, Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee Bui Minh Chau and the delegation offered incense, flowers and gifts to express gratitude and memory of the merits of Duc Quoc To Lac Long Quan; Vow to continue the national tradition, constantly practice, unite to overcome all difficulties and challenges, contribute efforts and wisdom to the construction and development of the country.
After the death anniversary of Duc Quoc To Lac Long Quan, the delegation of Phu Tho province and a large number of people respectfully offered incense, flowers, and gifts to express gratitude and remember the merits of Mother Au Co.
The death anniversary of Duc Quoc To Lac Long Quan and the offering of incense in memory of Ancestor Au Co are the opening activities for the series of rituals on the occasion of the death anniversary of Hung Kings in 2022.
Along with the ceremony, the festival will take place traditional activities, held on an appropriate scale, to ensure safety for the prevention and control of COVID-19. Specifically, on March 1 of the lunar calendar (ie, April 1) at Hung Vuong Museum, Hung Temple Historic Site, thematic exhibition “Hung King worship – Convergence and spread .”
On the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month (April 3rd), the ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition of the cotton-throwing and fishing festival at Van Luong Temple-Van Phu Ward was held as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage; on the 6th day of the 3rd lunar month (ie the 6th of April) at the Hung Temple Historic Site, drumming and stabbing are held; performing Xoan singing in the ancient village; water Puppet.
In addition, many activities are also organized on this occasion such as art performances for tours; contest of wrapping, cooking banh chung and pounding banh giay in Phu Tho province ; Traditional festival of Hung Lo communal house and the ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition of the national intangible cultural heritage and the certificate of recognition of the provincial tourist area; art program for Hung Temple Festival in association with the 10th Anniversary of UNESCO honoring Hung Kings Worship Belief as the representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
