(BNP) – Tam Phu Temple (also known as Ba King Temple), in Cao Duc Commune, Gia Binh District, where worships three great gods: Thien Phu, Dia Phu, Thuy Phu – King of the three natural realms (Heaven – Earth – Water) created all species.

According to local documents, the temple was built a long time ago on a high mound in the middle of Nguyet Ban beach – a large alluvial ground, surrounded by immense rivers. Relics associated with the historical event of the Tran kings and mandarins convening the Binh Than Conference (military conference) to discuss strategies to defeat the Nguyen – Mong invaders in the 13th century (in 1282) were on the beach. Nguyet Ban – Tam Phu Temple makes sacrifices to heaven and earth, praying for victory over the enemy and keeping the land in peace.

Experiencing historical periods, today the Tam Phu temple relic still preserves the ancient relics dating from the Le – Nguyen dynasties and has been restored and embellished spaciously.

The altar was built according to the architecture of 3 compartments and 2 left, curved roof, frame built entirely of ironwood with many intricate carvings of dragons, phoenixes, plants, flowers, etc.

This place has an altar to worship Saint Tran (Hung Dao Vuong – Tran Quoc Tuan) – who had merit in fighting the Nguyen Mong invaders in the Dai Than estuary region, who was built a temple by the people here and conferred ordained by the kings.

The central temple was built according to the architecture of 3 compartments and 2 left, curved roof, similar in architecture to the front hall, where the altar is located to worship the Five Immortals, the Monk and the Lady of Luc Dau Giang. In particular, on the altar, there is an ancient Chinese painting of “Three palaces of the three palaces” (sacred temples of the three palaces) hanging on both sides of the temple, with the couplets hanging on both sides: “Three palaces of ancient and magnificent palaces / sudden Thien Thu Luc Luc”. head of the river”.

Tam Phu Temple and Bai Nguyet Ban site were ranked historical and cultural relic by the Provincial People’s Committee in 2007.
