Duc La Pagoda, also known as Vinh Nghiem Pagoda (Vinh Nghiem Tu) is located in Duc La village, Tri Yen commune, Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province, more than 18 km from Bac Giang city. This is a Buddhist center of the country, and a bright pearl in the ancient temple culture in Vietnam.

This temple is the place of practice of many high monks, of which the highest peak is the three ancestors of Truc Lam Zen sect, namely Thuong Hoang Dieu Ngu Tran Nhan Tong, Phap Loa and Huyen Quang. This place carries many cultural and historical values ​​of the country’s Buddhism.

Duc La Pagoda has an area of ​​​​about 10000 m2, starting with Tam Quan gate, then Tien Duong. Right on the temple grounds, there are still many ancient imprints, of which the oldest is a large 6-sided stele in the year of Hoang Dinh, opposite it is preserved the tomb garden of 8 monks.

The pagoda has a special structure, there are 4 blocks: Buddha pagoda with the shape of the word ‘public’, on both sides there are rows of Ta vu and Huu vu. Each row consists of 18 spacious rooms, where the monks come to settle down every year. This is a large temple with many architectures preserved from thousands of years.
