From Canh Nang town of Ba Thuoc district, go northwest around the foot of the mountain to Kho Muong village, Thanh Son commune, about 30 km. The village is located deep in the core area of ​​Pu Luong National Nature Reserve, isolated from other villages in the region, less affected by human impact, so it still retains its inherent poetic beauty.

5.2. Pho Doan Market

Pho Doan Market, also known as Pho Don market, is a market dating back to the French colonial period, located in Lung Niem commune, Ba Thuoc district, Thanh Hoa province. The market is about 150km northwest of Thanh Hoa city center, known as a unique highland market that attracts tourists when coming to Thanh Hoa.

The market meets on exactly 2 mornings on Thursday and Sunday every week, selling all kinds of goods from traditional to modern such as: forest vegetables, brocade, oranges, wine, crabs, and wild rats. ..

5.3. Pu Luong mountain peak

In Thai language, Pu Luong means the highest mountain in the region, the actual peak is 1700m high. Standing at the entrance to Ban Don (Thanh Lam commune), it is also easy to see the towering Pu Luong peak, covered with a green color.

  • Noon:  You can rest and eat at the weaving village and rest for a while.

  • Day 1: Don Ban, Bat Cave

Ban Don, Hang Doi are 2 favorite destinations of tourists when traveling to Pu Luong Thanh Hoa. To experience the most interesting things, you can start the trip in the afternoon.

In Ban Don, perhaps the busiest place of Pu Luong, this is the center of Pu Luong and there are also many resorts, guesthouses, and homestays located here. After visiting Ban Don, you move to Bat Cave in Muong Kho village which takes about 30 minutes by car. Is a limestone cave system formed about 250 years ago.   • Day 2: Pho Doan Market, Ban Hieu, Thac Hieu, Suoi Cham

On the second day of the journey to discover Pu Luong, you must wake up early so as not to miss the scene of “clouds and mountains” in this village. In the early morning when the dew has not yet dissipated, white clouds hovering between the green hills and mountains bring an extremely impressive natural scenery.

After having breakfast, you move to Doan street market, about 15 minutes from Ban Don. Explore the fair with a lot of trading and entertainment activities of indigenous people. At the fair, there will be civil goods for sale along with specialties and characteristics of Pu Luong.

Going about 6km further, you will reach Ban Hieu and Thac Hieu. This place is the living area of ​​the Thai people with unique houses and simple beauty. Don’t forget to bring your bathing suit because Thac Hieu can experience a very cool and refreshing bath in the stream.

Sightseeing and experiencing in Thac Hieu, move immediately to Suoi Cham tourist area. You will have to travel another 11km to discover the giant water piles and experience rafting on the river. Rafting fee is 50,000 VND/person and time is 1 hour.
