Boat trip on the river 

Sitting on a boat on the river is the most exciting experience when coming to  Ninh Binh’s Sunshine Valley . Ticket price for each trip is only 15k only. If you take the Thach Bich Ninh Binh route, the fare is 60k/boat. One boat can carry no more than 4 Vietnamese and 2 international passengers. 

 

The ferryman who takes you to visit is also the most experienced guide. They rowed while giving explanations about the beautiful scenes, names, meanings and history of the caves. The water here is very clear, if you look down you will see the whole bottom floor has moss. On both sides of the river are rows of green trees and poetic water lily gardens. If you want to see  the Sun Valley  when the water lily blooms, you must come from April to May. 

 

 

 

Go “hunting the sun” at ideal coordinates 

Right from the name  Thung Nang  , many people imagine that this is a place with impressive patches of sunlight. The scenery here is brilliant and bold with the beauty of the countryside in the North. 

 

 

You may not believe it when you hear or see it, but if you come by yourself, you will feel that this place is very pure, dazzling in each eye-catching light strip. The scenery here is wild but not lonely, splendid but not too magnificent. That’s why it’s not boring to watch. 

 

Visit the magnificent cave 

After going “hunting the sun”, you will come to extremely mysterious and shimmering caves. The road to the cave will be covered with white reed flowers. When the boat arrives at the cave entrance, you will be equipped with a flashlight to enter the exploration. Visiting Thong Nang Temple 

About 100m by boat, you will come to  Thong Nang Temple . It is not an exaggeration to say that it is difficult to find a temple architecture that has such a pure and peaceful natural setting. The temple can lean against the mountain. Standing from the temple, you can fully see the most beautiful things in  the upper thousands of Thung Nang.  This temple is the place to worship Tran Trach Son Lam and Lord Thuong Ngan. Besides Thong Nang, you can visit Voi temple or 

 

 

Visiting Thung Nham bird garden 

In the journey to discover  Thung Nang  , you should combine to . With only about 1km by boat, you will reach Thung Chim located in Thung Nham. Here you will see many species of birds. The scenery here is very lively like an excellent ink painting. Afternoon is the best time to come here when the birds will fly back to nest 

 

 

At about 5 p.m., flocks of birds such as storks, storks, cauldrons, cranes, … in turn pulled back to shade the whole sky. Here you can also experience entertainment services such as garden tours, mangrove tours,…
