1. About Ao Tien

Ao Tien is a small lake, about 3 hectares wide, located on the top of the mountain. Surrounded by tropical forests, the climate here is very cool and fresh. Ao Tien is separate from the lake, there is no source of water flowing in or out, so the water is clear.

Ao Tien is located in the corner of Lake Ba of Ba Be Lake, is a small lake located in the middle of the valley of primeval forests, there are underground circuits connecting between Ao Tien and Ba Be Lake. This is the unique feature of Ao Tien, which is also the residence of many aquatic plants and animals, as well as other features of Ba Be National Park.

The lake’s water surface is calm and clear like a mirror bearing the silhouettes of mountains and clouds. Romance with Tay girls in ethnic ao dai swinging oars on dugout canoes.

In addition, in the heart of Ao Tien, there are precious fish species such as glass carp, trout, fried fish, etc., which are said to have followed the underground water flow from Ba Be Lake to live here. Along the way from Ho to Ao Tien, there are also ancient trees living on limestone mountains such as holly trees, mallow trees, bud trees, etc.

In the middle of the road, there is a turn to Dong Tien, which is 15m high, 35m wide with rock formations facing the south. In the cave, there are many stalactites and a deep niche going north. Tien Cave together with Ao Tien form a pristine habitat, adorning the beauty of Ba Be Lake.

4. Check in Ao Tien with fanciful scenes

Ao Tien is home to a number of local fish and other aquatic animals. Local fishermen occasionally come here to fish, though it’s certainly more of a place for tranquility and seclusion than hoping for a big catch. Like the distinctive features of Ba Be, Ao Tien evokes local legends. The name “Ao Tien” refers to a story about a hunter who, while passing through Ao Tien, was captivated by the beauty of fairies bathing in the pond.

Coming to Ba Be Lake, everyone wants to come to Ao Tien. The pond is nourished by groundwater seeping through the surrounding rock, making Ao Tien the same water level as Ba Be Lake.

Having the opportunity to visit this place, you will have the opportunity to be in harmony with nature and watch the lake’s calm, clear blue like a mirror imprinted with mountains and clouds. Romance with Tay girls in ethnic ao dai swinging oars on dugout canoes.

Sitting on a boat floating gently on the blue, calm water, watching the distant stacked mountains. Put your hand gently into the cool water, enjoy this wonderful feeling, you will definitely want to come here again and again.

6. What to eat when traveling to Ao Tien?

6.1 Cakes

Banh gio – not banh gio. Banh Gio is a rather sophisticated dish from ingredients to processing. I think that when coming to Bac Kan, this dish cannot be missed. This cake is quite chewy and dipped with molasses, no one has tried this dish but stopped at the test level.

6.2 Smoked sausage

Sausage here is also considered a delicacy, because it is as sophisticated as banh gio. Selected ingredients are young intestines and lean meat, the intestines are taken for the most delicious and crispy part, washed thoroughly with salted water, stuffed with minced lean meat. Then let it dry and then hang it in the kitchen.

6.3 Roasted suckling pig

Roasted suckling pig is also a dish that many people pay attention to. The suckling pigs are cleaned with guava leaf juice, stuffed with aromatic herbs and roasted over embers until cooked. Roasted milk pork is fragrant, greasy, with the aroma of passionate honey leaves, everyone who eats it once will remember it forever.

  3. Tourist areas are often transported by boats, so you should pay attention when transporting them
  4. If you travel in the high season, you should check the room at least 2 weeks – 1 month in advance to make sure there is room, the trip will not be interrupted.

Above are some features about Fairy Stream and Bac Kan that I want to share with you, this place is still very wild, so the air is very fresh, because of the highland, it is also very fresh. Try a sip of sparkling spring water to cool the intestines. Ximgo we wish you happy travels!!
