Preparing for the Con Son – Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2019, the Management Board (MBU) of the relic has carried out many renovations at the relic sites, especially at Ban Co Tien.

Con Son – Kiep Bac relic management board erected a 3 m high natural stone slab engraved with the name of the relic; planting pine trees, conifers, flowers and miniatures in about 1,000 m2 of land, newly paved 200 m2 of stone road around the monument.

Currently, about 70% of the shops on the way to Ban Co Tien have been cleared, the remaining dozen stalls are planned into 3 points, each point is 500 m apart.

The shops have corrugated iron roofs, comply with the regulations on listing prices, ensuring food safety and environmental hygiene. The electrical system and loudspeakers are pulled to the top of the mountain to propagate and remind people to live a civilized lifestyle during the festival season.

Mr. Hoang Van Minh, 75 years old, from My Duc (Hanoi) said: “This is the second time I have returned to Con Son and reached Ban Co Tien, the first time was 10 years ago. Now the way up is easier. The area is beautifully restored, the restaurant is no longer covered with temporary leaves like before. I like the pleasant atmosphere, I think the locality needs to focus on promoting this advantage.”


Along with Ban Co Tien relic site, Thanh Hu Dong, Thac Ngoc bridge, Con Son stream… all have stone slabs engraved with place names.

According to the statistics of the Monuments Management Board from the beginning of September until now, Con Son relic site alone has attracted 23,000 visitors, double that of the same period in 2018. To achieve this number of visitors, there is a significant contribution. from the renovation of Ban Co Tien landscape.
