Legend of Ngoc well

According to the old legend, the well is the lifeblood of the special national monument Con Son – Kiep Bac. The water source of Ky Lan mountain flows down and gathers here. In the 13th century, the abbot of Con Son pagoda was Huyen Quang Ton Gia. After Con Son Pagoda was built. The abbot is still struggling not knowing where to find pure water to worship.

Then one full moon night, the moon shined brightly, when the Vu Lan Bao filial ceremony was held, the abbot had a strange dream. In the dream, Tien Ong claimed to be the god of dragon veins of Con Son mountain. Tien Ong showed Master Huyen Quang that he knew his wish, then led him to the back of the temple, only to the side of the grove of trees with the pearl. But the temple bell woke the abbot.
