About Do Temple

Located in Dinh Bang village, Dinh Bang commune, Tu Son town, Bac Ninh province, Do temple was built in the 11th century and is also known as Co Phap Dien or Ly Bat De temple. The temple is the place to worship 8 Ly kings: Ly Thai To, Ly Thai Tong, Ly Thanh Tong, Ly Nhan Tong, Ly Than Tong, Ly Anh Tong, Ly Cao Tong and Ly Hue Tong. With an area of ​​​​more than 31,000m2, Do Temple has 21 large and small works, divided into inner city and suburban areas, with the center being the main temple.

Coming here, you will have to admire a vast landscape with monumental palaces, majestic harem, relaxing water house and quiet epitaphs. In ancient temples, the scent of incense spreads throughout the space and makes us think of a heroic dynasty.

Every year, the Do Temple festival is held on the 14th, 15th and 16th of the third lunar month on the occasion of the day Ly Cong Uan ascended the throne and issued the “Resignation of the Capital”.
