GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION AND AREA

Kim Hy Nature Reserve was built according to Decision 1804/QD-UB, dated September 1, 2003 of the People’s Committee of Bac Kan province, the conservation area has a total area of ​​15,416 ha.

By 2007, according to Decision No. 757/2007/QD-UBND, dated May 21, 2007 of the People’s Committee of Bac Kan province, approving the results of reviewing and re-planning 3 types of forests in Bac Kan province, the core area of ​​Bac Kan province The conservation area is 14,772 ha and the buffer zone is 18,931 ha in 7 communes Kim Hy, Luong Thuong, Lang San, An Tinh, Con Minh, Na Ri district and Cao Son and Vu Muon communes, Bach Thong district.

Ecological restoration subdivision 3,832.14 ha; Service-administrative subdivision 439.13 ha; The buffer zone in 468.76 ha is located in the communes: Lang San, An Tinh, Luong Thuong, Kim Hy, Kunming, Na Ri district and the communes: Cao Son, Vu Muon, Bach Thong district.
