Born on August 25, Year of the Dragon, the 2nd year of Trung Hung year (1292) in Van village, Quang Liet commune, Thanh Tri district (now part of Hanoi). Father is Chu Van Thien, mother is Le Thi Chuan.Chu Van An temple is located in Chi Linh mountain, Hai Duong province, ranked as a national historical relic in 2008.
