Master Chu Van An’s name is Tieu An – self-titled Linh Triet, Thuy Van Trinh. Born on August 25, Year of the Dragon, the 2nd year of Trung Hung year (1292) in Van village, Quang Liet commune, Thanh Tri district (now part of Hanoi). Father is Chu Van Thien, mother is Le Thi Chuan.

About 600m from the Temple is the tomb of Master Chu Van An. According to legend, the place where the teacher’s grave is located is the head of the phoenix bird, which is understood as the pinnacle of justice and virtue. About 50m to the west of the grave, there is a small well, visitors come to visit the teacher’s grave, each person wants to take a sip of water from the well so that the sacred gas of the rivers and mountains here infuses their body.
