Referring to the cherry garden, we certainly cannot help but mention Mr. Tran Le, who created this beautiful flower garden. He is now over 60 years old, is the director of Muong Phang Agro-Forestry Technology Joint Stock Company. Before that, he was a native soldier in Hai Phong. According to the sharing to make this forest, the owner of the garden has a friend living in Japan who works in the processing and agricultural production industry for 10 cherry tree seeds to incubate in Vietnam. After about a year of persistence, diligent research on terrain and climate, he chose Mon island in Muong Phang commune (Dien Bien district) as a place to start his experiment on plant breeding. The reason Tran Le chose this place and not other lands is because Mon Island is located in the heart of Pa Khoang Lake on both sides, surrounded by rich primeval forests, cool all year round, and the special thing is that this place less affected by natural disasters during the flood season. From the original 10 seeds, he propagated and covered the island with more than 4,000 cherry trees from small to large, turning a deserted island less frequented into a poetic brilliance with thousands of peach trees blooming red a whole distance. God.
