The area of ​​Muong Nhe Nature Reserve occupies about 45,581 ha, of which the strict protection zone is 25,679.08 ha, ecological restoration 19,888.42 ha, and administrative services 32.8 ha. Characterized by tropical monsoon climate with features of tropical high mountain climate, Muong Nhe Nature Reserve in Dien Bien province has two distinct seasons (rainy season from April to October, dry season). from November to March of the following year).
